Facebook Policy

The Marival At Weatherstone Facebook page has been deleted. We will be working to rebuild it.

The purpose of our Marival at Weatherstone Condominium neighborhood Facebook page is for the Board to share community information. In order to manage our mission and the page, we are formalizing the following guidelines as first published June, 2018, and revised February 2021:

As of 24 February 2021, the Facebook page is closed to new posts by homeowners. It is unfortunate that we have had to take this action because of previous inappropriate posts. If youhave a question, comment or issue that needs the Board's attention, please use the email found on this site.

  1. We are all neighbors on this page. Please treat each other with respect. Anyone who is being rude or hostile will be removed from the group if they do not cease after an initial warning. Inappropriate, harassing or nuisance messages will be deleted, and the authors will be blocked.
  2. Visitor posts which require a reply will be handled as soon as possible. The page administrators are also Marival homeowners with jobs and families. Moderators are Jay Messersmith and Jill Threm.
  3. If you have maintenance, landscaping, or snow removal issues/feedback, please contact Towne Properties
  4. If you have a dispute with a neighbor, please speak to them privately to resolve it. This is not a forum for arguments. If you feel that you need assistance with mediating a dispute, please contact the admins privately.
  5. Any homeowner making disparaging remarks about another homeowner will be banned for 30 days. On the second offense, the ban will be permanent.
  6. If you post an invitation to an event for your company, religious organization, or family, please note that it means all neighbors are invited.
  7. While invitations to religious or political events are welcome, or requests for prayers or well wishes, this is not the forum for religious or political conversations. That is best left on your own private page.
  8. If you have a grievance about general issues (landscaping, dogs going on lawns, etc) please do not personally call out your fellow neighbors and refer back to rule #4 on approaching them privately. Our property management team at Towne Properties takes direction from the Board of Directors, not individual homeowners.
  9. In order to keep the page focused on community interaction and the exchange of information, selling of goods or services is strictly prohibited.
